A yummy twist on traditional cranberry relish.
(Prepare the relish at least a day ahead)
1 12-ounce package fresh cranberries
1 cup dried tart cherries (about 5 ounces)
1 cup (packed) golden brown sugar
¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Place half the mixture in a food processor. Pulse until coarsely chopped. Transfer to a medium bowl. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Chill at least one day and up to two days, stirring occasionally.
Makes 2 cups
