Gooey, lemony, sweet - with just the right amount of sugar in the crust. My grandmother's lemon squares are my favorite.Cut together:
1 cup margarine (2 sticks)
2 cups flour
½ cup confectioners’ sugar
1 teaspoon salt
Press into the bottom of a greased 9 x 13” pan. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.
Mix:
4 eggs
5 tablespoons flour
2 cups sugar
6 tablespoons lemon juice
Pour lemon mixture over crust and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove and sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar to taste.
