Chex Mix

From: Debbi Hutwelker
At Christmastime, my mom would make what seemed like barrels of this. It's nice to have something salty to munch on, especially with the plethora of sweets that are always around during the holidays.

6 cups Corn Chex® cereal
6 cups Rice Chex® cereal
6 cups Wheat Chex® cereal
2 cup mixed nuts
2 cups bite-size pretzels
2 cups bite-size bagel chips or regular-size bagel chips, broken into 1-inch pieces
1 cup butter or margarine
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
4-5 teaspoons seasoned salt
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder

Preheat oven to 250°F. In a large bowl, mix cereals, nuts, pretzels and bagel chips; set aside. In an ungreased large roasting pan, melt butter in oven. Stir in seasonings. Gradually stir in cereal mixture until evenly coated. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool, about 15 minutes. Store in an airtight container.

* In lieu of nuts, my mom usually adds honey roasted peanuts after the Chex mix has cooled. If you can't find plain bagel chips, pick up a few plain bagels and toast your own.
