Clammies were one of my favorite party foods growing up. My mom made them often. I think she learned to make them when she worked for a caterer during High School. They look fancy, but they are easy!
6.5 oz. can minced clams, drained
8 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. crescent roll dough (8 roll tube)
3 tablespoons cocktail sauce
Drain juice from clams. Put clams into a bowl. Add cream cheese and stir together until well-blended.
Open crescent roll tube. Divide each of the eight sections into 5 pieces. Put a teaspoon of the cream cheese and clam mixture onto each piece. Roll up the ends of the dough to seal. Put seal side down on a cookie sheet.
Bake for 11-13 minutes at 375°. Dot each clammie with cocktail sauce. Serve immediately.
